A slightly elongated Berlin-style roll with a wide score cut is a classic of wheat bakery products. It is characterised by an exceptionally crispy, golden crust and a soft, fluffy and white interior, which is why it has enjoyed enduring popularity for years. It is delicate and easy to digest. Served with favourite cold cuts, cheeses and fresh vegetables, it forms an ideal base for a successful breakfast. The brittle crust and delicate interior conceal a simple ingredient list and a traditional production method. Berlin rolls are offered in a deep-frozen form, ready for baking. To serve fresh, warm and crispy bread, simply place them in a preheated oven for several minutes. Berlin rolls also taste excellent when served warm with melting butter. They work well not only as a base for breakfast sandwiches, but also as an accompaniment to soups, stews and one-pot dishes served hot. Unused rolls can also be dried and finely ground into breadcrumbs, which are perfect for coating meats, fish and cheeses.
